Seen the rear on the other camaro thread, I was assuming he had seen the rear elsewhere and would no doubt defend it.

So they came out with the Z28, another close to $60,000 Camaro. Not going to be much lighter than the ZL1 and has less HP. Can't wait to see the gas guzzler tax on this one.

well 5.0's and Boss ponies should know these taillights pretty well soon enough. stock for stock i don't see much of a competitor for it

After reading the article on the Z28- it's gonna be over $70,000 for it. ZL1 is pushing $60,000. Ceramic Brakes, more expensive LS7, recaro seats

stangfoeva 3/27/13 02:55 PM

$70k for a Camaro??

:rofl2: :rofl3: :rofl2:

Things were sounding pretty good... until you get to the price. Are they serious?!

About as serious as Obama and deficit reduction.

Lmao I'm so impressed 500hp out of a 427 they've used for 10 years and somehow it's lost 5 horses? We're making 430-450 out of 302's bud.

What is the price? I looked around and never saw one. Unless I missed it

Love reading the comments on Camaro 5. They are gonna be extremely butt hurt with thinking GM is only gonna charge 45,000 for the z28 lol

Is it just me...or has the Z/28 aesthetically copied the Mustang GT's engine bay?

It's gonna be one badass car...but it's gonna be hella expensive. And they are quick to point out the GT500 is $3000 more than a ZL1. But they won't say anything when the Z28 is 15,000 more than the GT500

Oh i know its gonne be a sweet ride. But how camaro models are there now? RS,SS,1LE,ZL1,Z28,COPO... Thats six total. Mustangs gave the v6, 5.0, BOSS, BOSS LS, GT500 and Cobra Jet. Thats a great competing line-up

No more Boss or Boss LS anymore though. And even with those two, Ford doesn't have a competitor for the Z28. The GT500 will beat it in the 1/4, but the Z28 is gonna murder it on a road course. Better suspension, a lot better brakes and then light weight wheels with 305/35/19 R compound tires all the way around? Not a chance

Congrats on being an idiot! Turn car talk political.

I totally agree its going to be an expensive track terror. And I never understood why Ford loves these tiny tires. Carbon ceramic brakes...lol. That's going to be expensive for someone when trying to service them. It'll be just another "garage/car show queen" for most.
