Sound Tube Update

Newbie here. Got my GT Premium in August with: Brembo, Recaro, Glass Roof, Auto, Sync, reverse sensors etc.... Have been fooling around with the sound tube for a couple weeks. My CA car only had one foam plug in the end of the tube near the firewall. Nothing in the other end. So I pulled the tube and used the kit to seal things up. A bit quieter inside. Then I reconnected the tube without the foam plug. A bit louder inside, but somewhat obnoxious when engine lugs at low RPM before the auto trans downshifts. I removed it and used a better plug in the intake tube than I've seen here. It's a Everbuilt Anti-Skid Rubber Leg Tip in the 7/8" size. Use magic mechanic's lube (saliva) to help it slip in until it seats. A perfect seal that looks as 'factory' as any I've seen. I'll post a pic if requested. Now I hear what I like: Exhaust Rumble. Not intake sound.

One of the first things i did was get rid of that ugly tube with the 12 dollar kit.
