Shocks, Struts, Coils from Track Package different to Stock?

Hi,

i was wondering if there's any difference between the suspension Parts of the 2013 GT Track Package and the 2012 GT w/o Track Package or are the Shocks, Struts and Coils the same?

Does anyone know if there's a difference and would it be worth to upgrade my 2012 with these parts?

Michael

It would probably make more sense to do the FRPP handling pack with the adjustable shocks instead of upgrading the to track pack stuff.

Sam Strano isn't a big fan of the FRPP suspension products. For the same or less $$ you can get Steeda Sport springs and Koni STR.T struts. Lots of good info here about it if you use the search function.

The track pack struts and shocks are the same with higher rate springs. That's about it. I can get you a setup that is much cheaper than the FRPP kit, I have the same opinion on the FRPP suspension. I don't care too much for it, there is much better out there.

The track pack suspension is the same as what comes on the brembo brake package cars. The springs and struts are stiffer than the regular GT parts. It is an upgrade from what you have. I've seen the sets for sale for about $200

+1... 2013-2014 Track Package suspension is the same as the 2011-2012 Brembo Brake Package suspension. Although it is a slight improvement over the regular GT suspension, I don't think it's worth it to upgrade to these particular suspension parts... if you already had them as stock components, different story.

Since i'm from Germany, i have to order the most parts in the US. For the Track Pack parts i got an offer here locally. The Guy wants about 200$. But if it isn't a real improvement i think i won't do it. Thanks for your answers anyway.

You're so close to Holland I would just do Koni.
