Shifter and warranty

Does replacing the stock shifter void the 3/36000 warranty with Ford? Any experiences?

It will on the transmission. Everything else should be fine but with Ford you never know.

If there was a problem the dealer would have to prove that the shifter caused the problem at hand.Just do it!!!

Start with the Barton or Steeda rear mount. If it helps great if not it only takes minutes to take out before going to dealer.
I put in a MGW...I am a believer

Yeah, watched the MGW video and was impressed. Seems like some of the transmission problems may have been actually caused by the cheaper OEM shifter. Gonna order it today!

Just replacing the shift bracket will do wonders - I chose Steeda and am very happy. Did the AM shifter at the same time and am happy with it as well. MGW is a fabulous piece of engineering but, overkill in my daily driver.

Your powertrain warranty is 5 years 60K miles, not the 3/36,000. Read your manual, tells you all about it.....
