Shifter Issues

Wanted to see if anyone else has ever experienced this and how you fixed it.

I recently installed a Steeda Tri-Ax shifter and bracket but found that 1st and 2nd gear are not all the way to the left. Reverse lockout works fine. When I want 1st/2nd gear i pull to the left and have to let off just a tad (back to the right) to find the gear. Going down to second requires finesse as if you have too much pressure to the left you will get caught up and you have to kinda 'find' the gear. I installed a Blowfish support bracket the other weekend in hopes this might fix any alignment issue; if there was one, but mostly because I sheared off one of the studs when installing the Steeda bracket. The issue remains so I dont think it is a bracket issue but then again I'm not sure.

Welcome to any thoughts/suggestions.

I honestly don't and an answer. I have the Steeda Tri-ax shifter and Steeda Bracket. It functions beautifully. Maybe an install issue issue or defective part? Have you reached out you Steeda?
