Roush boost-a-pump info?

I'm looking to get a Roush boost-a-pump/fuel pump voltage booster (this one: http://www.americanmuscle.com/roush-...or-1114gt.html ) and I'm wondering about the install ... it comes with a fitting for the boost switch, seen at the bottom of this pic:

My thought is that that fitting is supposed to go into the Whipple's lower manifold, in the port at the back/passenger side right next to the blower, but my boost gauge is hooked up there now.
See the arrow in the pic below to see the spot I'm talking about.

What I'm wondering about is whether the new fitting that comes with the Roush kit will be OK to be used into that manifold port, then to plug the boost gauge connector and the Roush bap switch into that connector?

The connector seems to be built exactly for that but I wanted to know if anybody has any first-hand experience with this set-up.

Also, would I use teflon tape on the threads?

Thanks guys.

Gabe, you should consider the VMP BAP. It's plug n play, and I have mine mounted in the trunk where no one can see it. Took me 2 min to install. Jay at Hypermotive hooked me up.

I have considered that unit, and I still AM considering it, but the Roush only works at full throttle, when it's needed. The VMP runs the pump at 17v constantly, I figure that's an easy way to kill it early

I'm planning on E85 and new fuel pumps next year or the year after, so I'm not worried about it. I don't blame you for going with the Roush unit.
