Im installing my steeda bracket this weekend and going with the Black one but will have the red one on standby at any adverse side effects!
I have the stock shifter though, curious tonhear your findings when you get urs installed as I too am considering the AM shifter down the rd.

Which one is supposed to create more NVH? I have not installed mine yet either.

This stands for noise vibration and harshness right?

Black one is more rigid and may cause some nvh. Red is softer and you shouldn't have any nvh. I'm running the red one with the stock shifter and I have no additional nvh.

NVH = noise vibration harshness

But the shifting between the two will be similar?

I think so, but I haven't tried the black one yet. I would imagine the black one would provide better support under hard shifting.

I was thinking the red one was harder since the Black one I got has a slit in it and the red one is solid ...

H = Harmonics ...

The red one is meant for more harsh driving.

Think of it like this:
BLACK = Drag / Track use
RED = Street / DD use

Installed mine today....short notice decision led me to the BLACK bushing!
Glad I did it, shifts feel nice and solid now and I can not see missing 3rd anymore!

A tad little bit of vibration was felt initially....but by the end of my 20 min drive I didn't even notice!
