Question about canned tunes.
So I ordered a set of BBK Longtubes and an O/R X-pipe from marylandspeed and they're supposed to arrive this coming week, as is my SCT Tuner from Bama with my custom tunes loaded in. I'm anticipating my tuner arriving a day or two before the Longtubes and I want to play around with it a little bit so my question is this... are the canned tunes, subject to the parameters that Bama inputs about the specifics of my car? My guess would be no they are whatever SCT put in there but I just don't want to screw anything up if I decide to go and run around with a canned tune on for a day or two until I get the Longtubes on and reflash with my custom Bama tunes.

Tunes
I just got an Sct tuner from Bama and it does have the Sct tunes and the three Bama tunes. This it the first mod for my '13 (my first mustang ever) and it is money well spent.

Tunes that are included from Vendors like Bama or Steeda, ETC are never specific to your car. If you have all the parts on your car that they had when they created that tune they sold with the SCT then it will probably be pretty **** close.
But if you have some other exhaust set up or different intake, injectors or whatever it may not be an optimal tune anymore. Custom Dyno tuning varies in cost and results but most people go that route to get things perfect for their specific car. This is more important when your modifications don't match what Bama or whomever created the tune for.
Will you screw up your car by running a canned tune that isn't specific for your modifications...maybe. I would recommend waiting to run the car hard until you have a tune that is specific to your mods.
