Paxton or ProCharger SuperCharger

I am considering a Paxton or ProCharger Supercharger for a 2013 GT with 6sp man and 3.73 rear. Not a DD. Street car. No track or oval racing. I want to make sure the motor and supercharger will last.

What has been your experience with either? What do you recommend?

Any other tips or ideas.

I personally went with the vortech v-3, and all I can say is WOW!!!
Have a tuner in mind before you begin though as the supplied tune is not all that great with the complete kit. I went with Lund racing and did a remote tune and did my own data logging.
From my experience sense I did my own install and learned the hard way... Looking back I should have bought the tuner kit. The supplied 47 lbs injectors are not enough for the application. I recommend the ID1000's and a BAP of your choosing. I went with VMP's plug and play unit.
Swap out your plugs for a set of NGK 6500's and Gap to .030
All that being said, the car is putting 600 rwhp now and performs very well.
As far as complete kits provided with all the correct parts supplied due to there constant R&D work, I'd look up beefcake racing and talk to terry....best prices out there I think anyway.

In my last Mustang, a 97 Cobra, I had a Vortech in there. Are the current Vortechs for the new 5.0 still have the marble crusher sound?

Let us know if we can help you out. Prochargers are excellent kits as well as Vortech and Paxton. It all depends on your goals really.
