I live in Europe currently so I used some local Tuning Line 350F heat resistant engine paint. I was lucky enough to find all ford colors. Cleaned, prepped with primer, taped (w/patience, the letters are a pain) It took about 7 or 8 light coats.
Been to the strip and ran all weekend with no heat issues.

Yea, I had the worst time with the letters because the paint would build up in the corners. I ended up laying them flat to do the letters and it spread out evenly. There are a few flaws in them mostly dust specs. You can only see them up close though.
