Cool stuff and they are the real deal. I think it will be close getting 305 under maybe from the top of the fender point of view. Hope they work out I have 285's on 19x10 Mich SS great tire but $$$. I am thinking to go to 305's when they wear out. The 305 and 285 are the same cost at discount tire. Post some pictures when they are done.
Thanks

Im going to ask a tire question here two. I have a thread on this but not much information. My son wants the Boss 302 LS wheels for the 2006 Mustang that i am giving to him. What size tire / tires for the 19.9 or 19.10 wheels can I use? Also will any tires recommended change the speedometer?

If you get the same diameter tire as the stock tires you will be fine.
The widest tire for the front is usually 255's unless you get a high offset rim but then the tires might be sticking out. The rears you should be able to go to 305's but that is probably overkill and can get quite $$ unless you have a lot of HP. If you go staggered 19x9 in the front and 19 x10 in the rear I would do the 255 /45r19 285/40r19 they are the same diameter the link I sent has alll the tire sizes and diameters so you can mix and match. If you don't need the bigger tires in the back 255's all the way around would be good. I believe factory was 235/50 r18

How does your car hook up with the 285's in the rear with the VMP setup? I anomaly running a Roush phase 1 which is tame compared to your VMP Stage2. So if the 285's work well for you then they would be great for me. I appreciate the feedback.

I will let you know more today my tune is off a little so I am taking it in at 10 AM for a dyno tune. It depends on "work well". For a daily driver they are great. I know my tune is very conservative. They will break loose.

not sure if link worked. It is my 0-60 attempt you can hear them spin, with traction control on. I would say if you can get 305's I would try it. I think the Mich were $320 a tire. Then you loose the ability to rotate them if you go staggered.
I will let you know how it runs later today and my dyno numbers trying not get caught up in that though but I think mine were low the first time I did it. I think I am leaving a lot on the table from other posts I have seen.

Here are a couple pic of my tires and rims

Just how wide is a 305/30-19? I have the same dilemma as 2014 GHIGGT.

I'm curious as to how much it is to widen the wheels. You should look at 275/40/19 to help your traction woes. A little taller will effect the over all gear ratio and a bit more sidewall never hurts. also suspension mods will help put the power down as much as the tires.
