A friend has a set of ford racing 3.73s from his 93 hatch laying around and I was curious if I could put them into my car without a issue? Id assume yes seeing as they are both 8.8s and haven't changed...

But if anyone can help I would be grateful.

They will fit, but I wouldn't use his old gears in a brand new car, in fact they may have been worn a certain way that's compatible only with his rear end that may chew yours up. Just buy some new ones. Only costs about $150

 

They have never been used, he bought them and then decided to go a WHOLE new route and put 4.88s in, they are still in the box from ford racing. He bought them last year and have just sat...
