What can I say?

She looks great and sounds even better!

Glad you're enjoying your mods, you're definitely doing a great job!

What are your next plans for this beast?

I would have to say LCA, UCA, 3.73 gears, Roush grills, Roush spoiler.

I have heard though that for a dd you only need LCA with relocation brackets. I have also seen on forums that LCA really help and others say that they don't so IDK.

I am considering going back to Pro-kit, I mean I love the look of sportlines, but it looks to me like I only have about an inch or so from the tire hitting the inner fender well. Look at this pic to see what I mean. How far does the suspension travel, will I have any issues with the tire hitting the inner fender well? Also since I have STR.T struts, will the drop put more load on the other parts like ball joints that are designed for stock height? The STR.T orange was exactly the same size as OEM struts.

Wow, that all looks fantastic...I may have to be a copycat...same car, same color, same wheels...I like the suspension mods and mufflers...I may have to go ahead and do something similar, I really, really, really like that.

Looks great Smoove. Welcome to the Race Red club.

Were you on one of the National Champ teams at UA? If so congratulations, I'm a Bama fan myself.

No I was not on the team, but isn't it funny how fans always say "we" did this today even thought the fan never had anything to do with the team? I have been a Bama fan for 30 years, lived in Hunstville for 20. I still say we when we do good or bad. HAHA

lol Totally agree about people who say "we won" and all that stuff. I always say "Really, I didn't see you on the field. I saw you sittin on the couch adding to that beer gut." lol

By the way, I grew up in Huntsville from the time I was 12 (Aside from a stent in the Army) and now I own a home out in Harvest. Great to see a fellow Madison county resident on here.

Sonic, I was worried about the Kooks as I was only looking at Borla or Corsa and American Muscle rep told me the Kooks was cheaper by about 250 dollars and sounded just as good.

First time I started the car with Kooks, I sounded like a little school girl it was so awesome as it still is months later.

The first drive home with Kooks my head hurt because I was not used to the different sound. Very low drone as well. After the first drive, I would never go back to stock. This is how the car should sound.

Great looking car. I like the stance. I have a 14 RR track pack and am just starting to look at mods. Your car gives me a good look at "after" without me having to spend anything. Thanks!

I am still iffy on the sportline springs, I like the look but wonder if they are too low and might not allow enough travel or if other OEM parts are being stressed more by the drop. Thoughts?

It is pretty low, so you will have some geometry changes. A bumpsteer kit at the front would help you out there. At the back, some lower control arms along with LCA brackets would help get the power down, and an adjustable upper control arm in the rear would fix up the pinion angle to take the stress off the diff/driveshaft area.

Good looking car though, good stuff.

I will look into those items. I was looking at the Boss intake and throttle body too. Anyone have those types of mods and what are your thoughts?

Essentially the lower you go the more necessary they become. The Sportlines are some of the lower springs out there. You'll see some serious handling improvements with the bumpsteer gear alone. In the rear it's about putting the Coyote power to the ground. The geometry correction would be taken car of by correcting the pinion angle with the upper control arm along with the lower control arm relocation brackets to put the LCA's in the proper position (angled up towards the front). Changing out the lower control arms just stiffens it up to further reduce deflection & wheel hop.

Have a look under your car at the lower control arms. If the front mounting sits level with or lower than the end attached to the axle, that's your next mod.
