Ok so I was driving in town. I he followed me for more than 4 miles then pulled me over. He said "your car is loud why is that?" "Because I hae a performance exhaust on my car." "No you have nothing on your car it's too loud" then he hands me a no muffler/inadequate muffler ticket. hate state cops. The 3 local cops didnt even care when I went WOT right by them. I was driving normal and the state pig decided to pull me over. :/

"Incinerator?" The name of these mufflers contains instructions on where we should put them.
If you want loud, the GT500s probably won't do it. They sound fantastic but they're just not as rude (good or bad) as some of the other options on the market.

I just want to know why bikers can have their bikes louder than my car would have been without cats and slp mufflers yet I'm the one who gets a fine. > ill respect bikers when they respect the law like the rest of us have to.

lexi2013, I've never heard of Incinerators and the first thing listed about them in a Google search is this thread...so that tells me it's a cheap knockoff and I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole.
With my car being a daily driver and one I drive about 20,000 miles a year, I wasn't going to buy something that droned on the highway. That ruled out everything but Borla, Roush and the GT-500's for me, though I've heard good stuff about Corsa for other cars, especially Corvettes.
I went with Borla in the end because I've never read a review on here or talked to anyone in person that didn't love their Borlas, and that they're drone free. Yeah, they cost about 40% more than other brands but for me, that $200 extra was worth it. Just be glad we have such simple axlebacks - on my Dad's '12 Corvette, for example, the same Borlas cost $1300, twice what they do for our cars, thanks to the extra piping needed.
As far as where to buy, American Muscle is a great spot to start but I went through every online retailer Borla listed on their site (10-12 total). In the end, Summit Racing was the cheapest, by far, with a price about $100 less than AM, so I went with them.

I Have No Life
Regardless of gender, he does have a point. It seems like I am telling people how good my borlas sound on a weekly basis. Plenty of threads and stickies on this subject.
