Has anyone heard the kooks axlebacks can't get their soundclip to work. thanx

 

I have the Kooks catback.

I took the resonators out to get it a little louder after the video was filmed. with the resonators removed they get a little louder but you will get a slight drone 1700-2100 RPM.

 

The steeda axle backs are identical/made by kooks. Search for steeda axle back on YouTube and you'll find a bunch.

Steedas axlebacks are made by Kooks.

 

Steeda part numbers starting with 555 are made by steeda. All others are relabeled. Their x-pipe with hfc's for example is magnaflow. Axle backs are kooks.

 

Ah I see. Their old catbacks used to be Borla, I guess I just assumed it was the same.

 

I love mine. I can't wait to get over axle pipes and a catless H pipe.

 

We run kooks on our Boss, love them. Not very loud but very deep. We get zero drone as well.

How do the Kooks compare to the GT500, and Borla S types in terms of loudness and tone? The videos I have watched the Kooks sound great, a different tone to them, but hard to understand how much louder they are than stock, and vs the other brands.

 

A little bit louder than GT500 axlebacks but not as loud as S types. Best way I can explain it.

 

I have the Kooks from Hypermotive. Thanks again. And I started my car and moved it. Then I got in my buddy's 14' Shelby and my sons said they didn't hear me move his car.
