Kooks, Stainless Works, or American Racing. With a tune you should see around 30-35 rwhp.

What else do you plan on putting on the car? You add a CAI/Tune/Exhaust then you could see upwards of 44HP.

Let me know if I can help put together pricing and a package for you?

Best Regards,

TJ

Bassani long tubes and catback. Don't know the power gains on paper but it sure sounds great. Stainless works and kooks are awesome as well.

thanks guys..I was talking to a friend that has a 5.0 as well..he says we have factory h pipe's already and that Jeggs sells a cat delete pipe.

If we have a h pipe and can take the cats off of it...why would I need a x pipe cat delete system?

Thanks for helping me , I am learning as I go.

The stock h-pipe is pretty restricted and necks down to 2 1/4" at some points but the real gains will come from eliminating the cats.

how much would a full exhaust cost and what would the gains be from that on the dyno?

My full bassani cost around 2k, long tube headers were $850 at late model restoration, adapters were 250, catback was $900 at auto anything.com. I believe on average a full exhaust with a good tune will net you between 30-50 hp,...I had my tuner do a conservative tune. I gained 44 hp and 38 tq. My buddy has kooks full exhaust with a race tune and he gained 61 hp and 58 tq. It ranges from exhaust to exhaust.

If you search the net you'll find answers to your own questions,... Or call manufacturers so you don't have wrong information which can happen. I call the manufacturer for every question.

My opinion only, but the amount of power you gain will be pretty much the same across the board. Stainless Steel Works is known for their headers and that's why I bought the cat back from them. The cat back sounds awesome so I would assume that adding their headers would sound good as well.

I myself considered stainless works. I've had them on other mustangs and decided to try bassani. Stainless is still my preferred long tube though,... Will probably end up switching eventually.
