I don't think you can go wrong with either the Redline's or the MRT's. I've had the MRT's on my car for a year and like them very much. I got them over the redline's because of the easier install and the fact that they are more out of the way when the hood is open. I did have to unbolt the sound tube from the fender though as it interfered with the MRT bracket.

The Roush look like MRTs, I've got those and they are great.

I haven't bought struts for my '11 yet, but I will only buy Redlines! I had them on my '03 Mach 1 and on my '07 GT. They allow you to leave the hood up at many different angles (great for car shows) since they are positioned better than the non-drill styles which typically only keep the hood up pointed at a very high angle. Here's a couple shots of my cars with them.....

Those look great, Brian (both those cars look very cool). Thanks for the info and pics. But I'm probably gonna get the Roush set - easy install. And I also prefer the way the Roush/MRT are mounted closer to the stock hinges, and out of the way a little more than the Redlines. However, from what I've seen and read (on-line and in person), the Redlines are the finest hood struts you can buy.

Hey, I know this is an old thread, and my last post was Feb, but I just bought and installed my new hood struts...CPC NXT pre-painted, from CJPonyParts, $123, free S&H. The pre-paint (Race Red) is excellent, I'd say 98% match. Easy install, no drilling. Look great, work great, lifetime warranty. I'm happy with them. URL link at the end of this post.
