Rob,

Are you serious? Are they really quiet? My understanding is that they are three times louder than stock.

Judge that for your self when u put them on. But I think the first new 5.0 that passes you with the roush AB's u will wish u got them if u want the gt500's to be a lil louder when evrything is done cut out ur resonators that will help bring out a lil sound

I like LOUD... But I was pretty disappointed... They sounded good at cold start and WOT but for normal driving and idle, they were pretty quiet. You'll be happy if you're going from stock though. Wasn't tryin to bum you out... I like the roush's for the money and Borla if money isn't an issue. Everyones different though...

Yeah,

That is my fear! To install the GT500s and get minimal sound! Ugghh

I still have to have an exhaust shop cut out the resonators and weld something else on there right? Any idea on cost on this? Also, do you have a vid or sound clip showing the diff between res and non-res? The ones I've seen online, some dude had an H pipe or something, and it sounded awful. I hope you or someone has a vid showing the GT500's with no res as the ONLY mod. Anyone out there have this???

It's all preference. I personally don't like the Roush AB since it's too loud, too open sounding. But that's just me. Other folks like it. If money was no issue, I'd get the Borla S-types....

I wonder if removing the resonators causes problems with state inspection. I am in Texas and have to get the car inspected.

To cut the resonators out and replace with straight pipe, cost me $50.00.

RobDis has the best video of his car with GT500's and resonators deleated.

Here is my car with no resonators and GT500's:

Roush's are awesome but on a cold start you WILL wake the neighbors or a least annoy them. lol

This may sound funny but even though I ordered the GT 500s on Monday I am still wondering if I made the right decision. I can always return the system and exchange fir the Roush. Right now is a 50 /50 decision. There seems to be an even number of opinions for both systems

I think I can live with a bit loud but no drone! I will wait for the GT500s to come in then decide if I will return.

You shelby guys are lucky to have the snake! Those are some beautiful cars no doubt. How much better is the cobra with the Roush? I also hear that the GT 500s sound different in the Shelbys?
