I'm going to delete the resonators tomorrow, and then pick up an X pipe. My question for the guys that have been here before is which brand X pipe is the best fitting (least amount of hassle) and best bang for the BIC so to speak?

Gt500 valence
I did this mod with quads and valence for under 500.00. One of my best mods yet. I added the Boss 302 quads also and it sounds awesome .

Used take off parts?
New costs a lot more than that and the used stuff is few and far between.

Buy something else you like the sound of and save some headaches and $$$ and enjoy listening to them as you roll down the road.

Think long and hard about this before getting too deep into it. The 13-14 GT500 mufflers look kind of neat on a GT with the GT500 lower valance but they sure don't sound as good as the older single tip GT500 mufflers.

First, I love the look of the quad tips and from what I've heard, they sound good too. I also like the Borla (non quad tips) but I hate that the tips stick out so far. It's like they want to make sure everyone sees the name on their tip and they didn't give a rats a** about the overall appearance.

It's actually hard to find a factory exhaust that is dead on adjusted on both sides.

You can adjust the mufflers with/at the mid section. It is a couple of bolts. this will adjust how far out your tips are. . Unless the tips are excessive in length, but you can get away with an inch or more in my experience.

Plus Borla is supposed to release a black version of their exhaust .... That might win me over.
