Twin turbos make more power than the Whipple - But it is hard to beat the deal Ford is offerring when you facotr in the factory install and warranty

Price for the kit is $8595.00

Why so much?

Other twin turbo setups like on the 4.6 are quite a bit less.

The only twin turbo kit that comes to mind for the 4.6 is STS, and I imagine the Granatelli kit is quite a bit better..

The STS kit is also something like $7,895.00, and comes with puny T3/T04B turbos. If the turbos included in the Mustang kit are anything like the turbos in the Camaro kit from Granatelli (PT6265), then the Mustang kit, at high boost, should be good for ridiculous amounts of power. The 6265 turbos are good for something like 600+ HP each. The T3/T04B's are good for around 350-375 HP each.

To sum it up: The Granatelli kit is for serious competitors, looking to make the most power, from a well known company. The STS kit has far less potential for higher power.
