Gains from O/R h or X pipe

Looking to see if anyone on here has upgraded to an O/R catless H pipe that is FI. I know they state 15-18 HP in NA form, but I am curious what gains I would see with my VMP stage 2 running 82mm at 10 lbs. Current exhaust is stock and I know I will loose a little boost with the exhaust opened up, but I hope to make up for that with more HP.

My local track is an 1/8th and my best was 7.1 at 99mph. This is with my 20's on invo's, but I want to get into the 6's over 100mph before I buy DR's. I hope the O/R pipe will get me under 7's.

I went from stock exhaust N/A
To 3" O/R x-pipe N/A
Back to stock exhaust N/A
Now x-pipe with cats and a vortech
When I had to drive a week with the stock exhaust back on it was pretty noticeable. I had to leave cats on because dealer fixed a header leak and the bolts were too tight for me to remove the one from up top. Long story short, definitely get another exhaust, but the cats do keep you from stinking up your clothes at a red light with the windows down and they quiet it down quite a bit. Would like to take cats off with FI now just to see what the difference would be.

I'm planning HF cats. I can't stand the nasty smell the stock cats give off when you drive it hard. How long does that take to go away??

I only had the gas smell with out cats, nothing now that they are back on. My exhaust ends at the rear axle so that has a little to do with it.

If you are talking about a sulfur smell? That is from Bad gas. Try another gas company.

Yes the sulfur smell. And I've read it's pretty common with new cars, not necessarily bad gas. I use Shell, 76 or Chevron. Smells the same. Only when pushing it hard. We only have 91 here too...

That's just a way to punish Camaro drivers

Only time I would pick up the smell on my old stang was if I was standing behind it while it was running.
