Fog light tint

Hey All, thinking of putting yellow tint on the fogs. does it look cheesy?
what you guys think? Just wanted to do something different and it seems to look ok with the Kona blue.

I like the look. I was thinking about some yellow fogs too. You could get some gold or Bronze rims and racing tires for the road course to match.

Try it: http://www.headlightarmor.com/10-12-...tion-kit.aspx#

There's some yellow pics in there.

I bought the headlight armor over a year ago- 50% light. And they've held up really well.

Even if you don't like it for $18, not a bad trial.

I got blue tinted fog lights for my roush grill and the combo looked odd even though my car is blue. Now that I have the actual Roush fog lights in and they match the headlights i like it much better.

So the short answer is I woudlnt do it, but thats just my opinion. Not a fan of yellow lights at all. But hey, its your car, do what you like man. The beautiful thing about the tint is, it can be pulled off if you dont like it. I tried using window tint on my grill fogs and it didnt want to lay down correctly so I just rattle can tinted them and now i dont even use them because im using the fogs in the bumper and im going to the billet grill eventually anyway. Problem solved!

you know ive seen that combo on the older Subie STI's. I think the bronze does look different and kinda of cool.

thanks for the link man yeah 18 isnt that bad, especially if these are a bit thicker than the tint you get on ebay. So maybe i might try them out.

yeah i hear ya, but just wanted to get a general ideal if it looked dorky or not. I would think the blue ones would work better but from your exp i see that it might look odd as well. I would sooo get the roush front bumper and just do the fog delete for the grill but for now gotta wait on saving the moolah for all that, so just wanted to change it up from stock.

thanks everyone for the comments and suggestions, really appreciate it.

Yep, thats what owning a vehicle is all about. Its your personal style. Alot of guys like the yellow lights. I never have. But it would create some contrast on the front of the car for sure. Which is a good thing!

On a side note they have Kona Blue Roush bumpers already painted. Takeoffs from Roush conversions i guess. Thats where i got mine. I made them an offer of $250 and then paid like $89 for shipping and it was at my door. Installed in like and hour. Dont know if you knew they had them or not. Like this one!

No problem dude! and you factor in that they are already painted, that's what sold me on them. It arrived and I had it installed in less than an hour. I have a link for the fogs as well if you need them. They are like $82. I cut my plugs for the grill fogs and added wire then reattached to be able to reach the fogs in the bumper. They use the same bulbs so it was plug and enjoy! Pm me and let me know!

Man! Im super stoked for ya! Ill send you 2 links. One is the smoked ones and the other is normal. I decided to get the regular because I wanted my fogs and heads to match. Having the blue ones really didnt look right. But you may like them.

Well here we go, since i had the yellow tint already coming in, i put it on just to see. Ill just leave it on for now till the bumper gets here :P

it gets looks when i roll out in the streets, but it also may be the Kona blue they are dazed by

Rob i saw a pic of your fogs when they were blue, yeah i see what you mean, i think leaving them white looks alot cleaner. I'll mess around and see how yellow looks on them when i get it.

Yeah I'll get some pics this week and post them up. Now all my front needs is the roush grills upper and lower. I may order the lower this week. Just to fill that gap in the bottom. I thought about putting some black mesh down there but that may not fit in with the rest of what I'm doing.

I'll admit, yellow's really not my thing. That looks kinda cool though!! I'm going to look into other color options for mine.

Took these today. Gonna take some better ones with a decent background probably tomorrow. But this is what your front end should look like.
