No, it is only welded in the back. It clamped to the stock pipe behind the cats.

I have to say though, it looks like one fine piece. I can't understand how a FRPP piece would have fitment issues with it. Afterall it was made specifically for our cars. But I could easily be proven wrong when I'm under there. From the looks of the PO's install marks, it doesn't look like this piece had any issues attaching to his car.

I have the Corsa X-pipe. It's nice, but the joint on the driver's side tube leaked. I had a local shop weld that up, but haven't put it back on the car since. I'd probably go with a one-piece pipe if I had to do it again.
