Exhaust and tune

I bought my 2012 with a full exhaust, long tubes, high flow x pipe and over axles. I don't think the car has a tune, would this make it hesitant on acceleration or normal driving?

Are you sure the car doesn't have a tune? Do you still have the cats? If they have been deleted you definitely have a tune.

It's bbk long tubes, and the bbk cated x pipe, but who ever put some old school magnaflow garbage muffler. But it kinda feels sluggish to other coyotes with similar mods...

Hey man,

Great question!

In most cases, with a setup like yours the car would most likely have been tuned prior. That being said, due to the mid-pipe still having cats, there is a chance that it was not.

I would highly recommend getting the car tuned just in case as it will definitely wake the car up.

Let me know if I can help you out with a customer Bama tune!

Since it's used did they state that it was unmarried/unlocked. I know when I ran my car without cats, it sure felt more sluggish without the cats before my tune.

It is unmarried... My x pipe is cated... I'm pretty sure it's high flow cats, it's a bbk set up.

I would think that if you are running LT headers even with cats you would throw a code. If you have no codes than most likley you have a tune knocking out the o2 sensors.
Did you purchase the car private or dealer?

Bad thing about LT's is you lose low end torque making you think your car is down on power.

Do you have supporting data for this statement?
