With the roush AB's best way to make louder is o/r x pipe clean and mean! Taking out the resonators will increase poping and cause little more rasp in exshaust tone.

I LOVE the popping with my roush's when the RPMs are dropping. A quick blip from Idle to about 2200 is pretty much the sweetspot for a rev when not moving. AMAZING!

Are u saying I'll get more of that without resonators???? Ooo baby....

They sound great! on par with the roush as far as loudness. I have the roush , but would buy the outlaws good mufflers!

Personally, I'm torn between either doing the Magnaflow Competition Catback or Bassani Mufflers with the Resonators deleted. I plan on adding an O/R mid pipe in the future and maybe long tubes but can't decide on the mufflers. I've found vids on both that sound great but I've heard negative things on both as well.

I like this vid cause it gives you an idea of what bassani sounds like with the stock mid pipe with resonators deleted first then with the stock mid removed.

Then we have S197GT's car with an O/R X which sounds awesome.

I just wonder what this setup sounds like with long tubes.

Sound good! I would recommend the roush or outlaws both sound about the same.

Lol, this is the video that convinced me to buy the Bassani! Awesome sound indeed.

I prefer the GT500's as I have been the route of to loud on past cars. They were just a bit to quiet so I finally did the resonator delete yesterday. A noticeable difference for sure. Several people have said they here the car sooner as I arrive. There is a bit more rumble when down shifting and slowing. A little more popping also but not nasty sounding at all.

Nothing against loud...just that the '07 GT Vert had straight pipes.......needed a change.

HAHA me too! I've heard a lot of different exhaust set ups on these cars in person, and nothing compares to an O/R pipe with bassanis.

Cool! I'm planning the X soon but I will not go O/R because I don't want to struggle with Ford and my warranty...

How would an O/R pipe effect your warranty?

Doesn't an O/R pipe remove the cats? If so, that would cause warranty issues.

Indeed, if there's problems with the engine, they will blame the cat delete and the tune that comes with it...

My 2010 GT has the SLP Loudmouth exhaust on it and wow is it every sexy! Noise is so deep and just so so so hot! I've heard the Borla's as well and theyre pretty nice too! Has anyone ever heard of the Akrapovic exhaust? Those sound so hot, but they punch a hole in your wallet!

Are the outlaws the hushpowers renamed? The AB system looks exactly the same as the hushpowers.

I too have been wanting to raise the volume of my exhaust but not lose the deep aggressive tone the Hushpowers (or Outlaws?) provide. Seems like an X-pipe is the remedy?

I'm not trying to hijack the OPs thread. I just don't see the point of creating another thread on exhaust.
