I have Roush Axle Backs and where in the exhaust line is the resonators that can be removed. I want to get the lope tune and I loved the way yours sounded with the Roush and resonators removed

This car sounds awesome in person! For a car with the cats removed its very subdued at idle but gets beastly when he accelerates! Excellent setup! And awesome that Mike had the patience and the motivation to truly "tune" his exhaust to get the sound he wanted!

Thanks for sharing your excellent videos, Mike. You did a great job at keeping the variables as close as possible...which is a huge help.

Here is a new video from Racing this week. Nevermind that SRT. I let him go as I was more concerned with getting down the track clean than racing that guy on street rubber. I was testing parts and really needed a good run.

Sounded good! Even though he got the jump you launched well and acceleration looked good throughout the run.

I looked up and I had deep staged and got the red. So, I just concentrated on launching well and not racing that guy. As is, I almost caught him and I ran 5 tenths quicker.

Here is the latest version of the lope tune:

Does sound pretty good. Still a bit loud for me.

Do you still have the Dynomax Bullets in there too? Is it louder with the bullets than with the stock resonators?

Reading back now I see you still had cats when you removed the resonators, so answering this might be tough.

Anyhow, thanks for the great thread.

It is only really loud when you stand on it. It has been louder. I do have the Bullets in there still. I think they are the key to taming an O/R mid-pipe. I would imagine the Bullets would be a little louder than the stock resonators as they are 3 inch, and therefore much less restrictive. Design wise, they are similar. With an O/R mid pipe and no resonators, this car can get pretty ratty sounding.
