Exhaust affects on SYNC mic?
When I had my 2010 F-150 on DroneMasters my wife would complain about how she couldn't hear me as well after I changed the exhaust (I know, too bad so sad right?). Well, I'm still fixated on what to do for exhaust for my yet to be delivered '14 GT. I was all set to buy a used S-type cat back for a steal, but it fell through.
So, I don't mind being a little louder. Not obnoxious jalopy pickup truck loud, but turn a few heads at a gas station or crowded street type volume. However, I really don't want to compromise the functionality of the SYNC system that I've missed dearly since my F-150.
Cost is getting to be more of a concern now, as I've got some house projects appearing on the docket. GT500s w/ resonator delete sounds like it might be more up my alley now...

Edit: fyi this is going to be a year round DD for me. If it were anything less there would be no question that obscene volumes are mandatory.

I just got Borla S-Types put on last week but I haven't really found occasion to hammer the throttle while on the phone. Driving normally, they're not noticeable over the phone that I've been told of, especially on the highway.

I've had my Borla s type axlebacks for 6 months and never had a problem. People have said they can hear it when I get on it (and I mean ROMP it!), but nothing obtrusive at all. Can't go wrong with the Borlas!!

But if price is the the issue, go with the Gt500's. My coworker has them and they sound sweet. But they are a different animal than the s-type. Much more reserved. He doesn't have the resonator delete though.
