Engine mods- help me out guys
Alright guys tell me what i should do.
My goal is to get as close as i can to 500 HP N/A without going into the internals of the engine.
1. I'm thinking of going with the JLT CAI
2. XC3 tuner (probably need a custom tune)
3. Exhaust (not sure which one yet- i like the gt500, corsa, borla s type and steeda)
4. X pipe
5. **maybe swap the boss 302 intake manifold and throttle body to get more**
What do you guys think i will get out of this? and what would you change to make this setup a little better?

In order to get close to 500 rwhp n/a I would say full exhaust with LT headers, CAI and a tune as well as the boss intake. Not sure how close that will get you to 500 at the wheels, but is "should" get you to at least 450 from other results I've seen

No problem, it's long tube headers. Not sure how strict they are around you for emissions though. I'm from CA.... we get screwed there. If you can go high flow cats or catless completely you will see more gains. Long tube headers will allow the exhaust to flow better than the stock shorty headers.

i think im going with the stainless works catback system and do headers next year.
Who would you recommend buying a SCT tuner from? and who would you recommend a custom tune for it. or do you think a canned tune for CAI and exhaust is fine.
Do we have a sponsor that sells stainless works?

I noticed a lot of you guys ordered your 2012 with a 3.55 rear not the 3.73.
I ordered mine with a 3.73..I am not as informed as a lot of you, in my mid 50's, owned a lot of pre 70 cars and loved them all. Did own an 08 Shelby GT500 and loved it.
also any shock tower brace available for a 5.0' What short throw do you like ? what intake do you like
thank you Cd3. Malvern Pa, White 2012 5.0' Brembo, 3.73' 6 speed

WMS car has the same set up and is pushing 425 and i have seen one at 435. WMS says with a bigger throttle body and some tune tweaking they can get 450rwhp.

I've got the Corsa X-pipe and axle backs, and they add 10-12rwhp, as documented in my dyno time at Livernois some time ago. Car was stock, 87 octane, and put down 387rwhp.
I'd look to pick up the tuner in a package with the intake you want, which should save you some cash on both.

Yeah im looking to pick up the JLT / SC3 kit plus do a Stainless works x-pipe and cat-back. Then in due time replace the headers with LT-headers.

500 to the wheels N/A requires ported heads, boss intake and cams/tune/full exhaust
JPC is one of the only (if not the only company) that has put down that kind of power N/A
