DiabloSport Intune- NO FINGER PRINT on PCM
I remember reading threads about the 5.0 being different than the 4.6. That the 5.0 PCM had another way to tell besides what shows up when you disconnect the battery.
But the explanation by Diablo is that this new device only rewrites certain parameters and therefore does not leave a trace vs a full rewrite.

There is a guy on SVT that is getting a deal on one with the sole purpose to go to Ford and see if they can detect he was tuned. Stay tuned to that thread for more info. This could be big, below is a link to a Intune customer in which GM claimed to see a tune but then admitted they could not and covered warranty work

I received the following response from Mike @ Diablo on another forum regarding InTune backward compatibility with Pedator tunes.
Just email the custom tune and a copy of the original backup (your stock tune) to your CMR Dealer, or to us and we can convert it to be compatible with the inTune. We provide this service free of charge.

Sorry did not want to start a new thread.
What are the benefits of getting a tuner without upgrades. I will not be going to the track. I basic concern is improving fuel consumption at 87 octane and hiding from the dealer.
