~ Custom Intake Project!!
Completed my "Custom Cold Air Intake" project!
Mated the Steeda intake tube to the ROUSH Filter kit....(THIS IS NOT A DIRECT FIT! modifications required)
I needed an intake that did not have a larger MAF or need a custom tune since Im using the FRPP Pro-Cal. had the ROUSH kit already but hated how the stock tube looked, FIXED that probem!
Might have $195 tied up into this intake...
I still need to do some slight modifications, but it is basically done!

I dunno, it was fun piecing together the project over time.....plus its different! It would have been easier I guess to buy an intake like the Airaid (which is about the only intake out there that does not require a tune). But the Airaid one is pricey and common....looks great though. And I had to have something that worked with the FRPP tune. (Warranty)
Just thought I would be original I guess.

You did a very nice job. Good okn ye.
I've been (not very seriously) thinking about a tube that would replace the stock one with the accordion pleats, keeping the stock air box. I wonder if the motion of the engine and the sort-of-static, which I presume is accommodated by the accordion, is a problem with the less-flexible couplings I see on the aftermarket setups.
