So I currently have the basic 13-14 GT gas cap but I'm about to install the Boss 302 grille. I want the tri bar pony on the front to match the rear. What I was thinking is have Emblempros.com machine me a plain black center cap and then stick on a 3M tri bar emblem. Does anyone think I'd have trouble with the curvature of the cap and a flat emblem?

 

Yeah your best bet is to just get a V6 emblem and swap it out. I don't think it would right with a stuck on emblem.

 

That's what I was afraid of. Now I just need to know where I can find one fora decent price.

 

just keep an eye on eBay and maybe even local wrecking yards. It took me months before I finally found one on eBay for $50 shipped. Still expensive for what it is IMO, but I like the look.

I've bought a few things from them at good prices.

EDIT: I just looked on there for a rear emblem and the ones that I found were in the $150+ range (some $300+), but they weren't the V6 one. However, the ones I saw appear to be going for similar prices on ebay.

 

I just looked on there and seemed to have found the decklid and emblem for $130, I could be wrong, but I'll definitely contact them. Thanks for your help!
