clutch pedal extention,best mod

bought it from AM (45 shipped) first time in three years i am comfortable driving my 2012 gt premium, taking off the old pad (401a chrome one) and putting the part on took about three minutes, putting that freakin stock pedal cover on was a nightmare,i gave up and had my son do it,after fiddiln around for 20 minutes he finally got it on. what a nice comfortable position i can sit in now and still have that pedal go down to the floor!!! best mod i have ever done for the price!

Indeed, I got that extension and I simply don't know how I survived without it before.

It is seriously the best thing ever.

I like mine a lot too. Makes the sitting position much more comfortable. Soaking the rubber pedal cover in hot water for 5 mins first makes it much easier to slip back on.

I tried warming the pedal cover with a hair dryer but that didn't seem to make much of a difference. I almost gave up but after about a half hour I got it on and used the "clam shell" method to install it on the clutch pedal. I don't think I could have ever gotten it on if I had installed the extension on the clutch pedal first.
Even though it's relatively expensive it's worth the price. The seating position is so much better.

I did mine by using a lot of Muscle and a flat pick. Worked in about 10 mine. If I did it again I would put the pad on the extension then open the bottom up and use the clam shell install. Go to the manufactures web sight and they tell you both methods. Like a DA I did it the hard way. Some have used the hot water method as well.

Still love this MOD it is the best. Can sit in the seat like an auto.

I bought one from Bondra Engineering years ago. It transferred perfectly from my 2013 to 2016. FYI.
