Clutch Extension
I am debating whether or not to purchase the clutch extension piece. I am 6'2, my wife is 5'8 so I know she would benefit a lot from it, but I am the main driver.
Is there anyone tall who has done this mood who can let me know how it works for them, thanks.

I have one on my 2014. It is by fare the best thing I have done on my GT. I can now sit farther away from the wheel and it makes for a more pleasurable driving experience. I was contimplating not doing it when I first got me car. The amount of money seemed like alot for a piece of plastic. Do it you will not be sorry.
Lots of positive reviews here.

I'm 6'1" and have one on my '05 Gt because my wife is 5'. I wasn't sure about it before I installed it but I think the clutch pedal is now positioned where it should be and allows me to sit further back from the wheel.

Transferred mine from 2013 to 2016 perfectly. Best mod ever! You forget about it until you drive another Mustang, and even the 2016 with power seats, tilt / telescoping wheel . . . I was hoping they'd have fixed that design flaw. Nope, so clutch pedal extension is still a must have.

People who need the pedal mod should instead be able to sit closer and have the wheel move in like it should.
That's what I thought. But now my 2016 has a telescoping and tilting steering wheel, plus power adjustable seats. I immediately felt the need for the clutch pedal extension anyway. The real problem is with the manual trans, the clutch pedal WILL need to be floored frequently. That's a much farther push than either the brake or accelerator pedal. No matter what, your leg length is fixed. So you must adjust the seat. Yes now in the '15 and '16 MY, you can THEN extend or retract the steering wheel, but everything else remains fixed . . . shifter, door handles, etc.
I've now owned both model year designs, and the clutch pedal extension is mandatory still, IMO. Those couple of inches really, positively alter the relationship between the pedals, starting the foundation for the other adjustments.

Anyone using this have aftermarket pedal covers ?? I have the ROUSH pedal covers on my 12' and was wondering if I could still use the clutch cover with this ? Would love to be able to move the seat back a little and still get the clutch all the way down.
Don't know for sure but I assume that if they fit the stock pedal they will fit the extension.
Yea the ROUSH covers have 4 screws the go directly through their cover and into the existing metal pedal "base" (so the factory rubber pad is removed with these). I was just wondering if anyone had used one of these with aftermarket covers to see if the mounting screw drilled into the extension would interfere with the fitment of the extension...
