Having coyote motor built.
If you are in Pittsburgh than I would suggest L&M which is near Philly (bit of a long drive) but they are one of the best modular builders in the country IMO. What kind of goals do you have for the car? What kind of power adder?
I went with JPC Racing/RGR (which I would also consider one of the best) and it cost me $13,500 for the shortblock. It included a new block, Darton Sleeves, offset grind crank making it 326ci, custom diamond pistons, Manley I beam rods, coated pistons, bearings, OPG, Total Seal rings, King bearings. It was a good chunk of change for sure but it should hold ~1500HP

I can't find the link to the specs right now but IIRC all Coyotes have sinter forged connecting rods, while the Aluminator has forged H beams.... Or am I not remembering right? That is entirely possible

There's isn't a mustang recently made that has forged h beams
Even the last GT500 Trinity didn't have them
Sort of kind of, just the Boss and the GT500 had the sinter forged rods. The GT had the powder forged rods which aren't nearly as strong as the rods in the GT500 & Boss which is why the Boss rotating assembly was highly sought after. For a few hundred bucks and your own time and labor you can have an engine capable of producing more power than the block might be able to hold. Most Boss 302's I have seen, failed around the 850-900 mark compared to the GT's failing around 625-650 which is still an impressive feat none the less.
