Carbon Fiber Engine Parts

Thought these were pretty nice looking, and for all the CF junkies these will def add to the setup.
It's in Lethal Performance's photo page- not on their website yet tho...

Looks great imo.

Looks like it's Hydro Carbon fiber.

maybe its just me, but these parts are pointless. carbon fiber, even if real, wouldn't provide a significant weight savings over the plastic parts replaced, and it would be lighter still to just remove the unnecessary shrouds/covers. If it is just to make the engine bay pretty, that's fine, but not worth spending the money to me.

They do look nice, especially the intake cover

Just money wasted here- as previously stated - not real CF.

That's sexy. I'm not jealous of much, but I am truly jealous of the way they designed the engine cover and 1 pc radiator cover! If only I could retrofit one onto my 5.0........

Would something like that fit the GT500? Im looking at getting the Super Snake pakage when I get back next year and thought the CF radiator cover would go nicely with the other CF pieces from Shelby (rocker panels, lip spoiler, etc.)

Y'all make me laugh. You act like nobody has ever spent money on a pure appearance part before! Like, oh, idunno, fake hood scoops, fake side scoops, stripes, vinyl decals, muffler tips, etc. etc. And besides, the stock engine cover weighs what, like, a pound anyway? I don't think real CF would be that much of a weight savings anyway.

I do like the looks. It may not inhance the performance and thats fine. Remember Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. A little eye candy that helps make a production car uniquelys your is always worth the money.

They're up on LP's website... It is confirmed to be Hydro CF... Don't look at the prices.

I found the radiator cover in real CF for $50 more...

Painting costs

It may seem high. Just remember you dont have to paint them. The cost of painting to patch can add some cost unless it comes prepainted.
