And where do I find the Brembo 5.0 Registry? Is it located here as part of themustangsource forum?

Wheels, tires, brakes and stiffer springs from what I've heard.

I've looked at them and the shocks look the same unless the valving is different. Personally i like my wheels over them (personal preference).

So Brembo package stops a little shorter and doesn't have as much brake fade over a non Brembo? That site is funny with exposing Ford with not really marketing it because they were trying to get folks to pay attention to the Boss.

IMO a boss is a racer for the street if its a LS. if its a standard Boss, its collectable and slightly faster at the track.

the boss does have wider tires(i use 285/35-19 v12 evos), better shocks/struts, overall suspension and 32 more hp.

the brembo Base GT is the closest thing to it. lighter than a premium and has a lot of the Boss's business only attitude.

a GT does have more torque also. i wouldnt choose a Boss over a brembo 300a.

The Boss is the car I want...but even if it was out at the time I ordered mine, I couldn't justify the extra $10,000 plus dealer markup anyway.

The Brembo package got me most of the way there. I love the hell out of driving mine even if it's not a Boss.

If/when my motor blows up, an Aluminator crate motor is going right in...then all will be rightin my world.

Once I got my 93 cai tune from Steeda, I'll put up any amount of $$$ against a Boss in the 1/4 mile. I've smoked a c6 vette, a grand national with 20 lbs, a highly modded 2002 SS, and a 2011 SS, the list goes on. I've been smoked by only a 2010 Zo6 with full exhsust , and a Kenne Bell 03' Cobra & I'll gladly take those lumps. The Boss is just too over priced for me . If I was spending that much, I'd go ahead and get a C6 coupe. Bang for your Buck, the 11/12 GTs are in a league of their own and with just minor mods you can smoke almost everything on the road. Line me up against a Boss to help your decision.

I've been toying with the idea of a 2013 Brembo 300a over a 2013 Boss for some time. My dealer promised me a 2013 Boss that I can order at MSRP when he gets it in. But other than the steering wheel and shift ****, I would be ok with it - and I can drive it without being afraid of something happening to it like I would be with the Boss. And I would be only driving it on the street anyway. But I am really curious to see what 2015 holds. Now where did I place that gosh darn crystal ball.

Really? Im almost paranoid about my plain old 300A! I go to ridiculous lengths to avoid door dings in the parking lot.

I agree guys. I should have said "I can drive it without being afraid AS MUCH of something happening to it". I've always been paranoid of driving (and parking) any of my sports cars that I have owned (as I am sure that I would be with a Brembo 300a). But I would be even more paranoid with the Boss. It is a very limited production sports car and the Boss stripes are screaming out to every car thief "Here I am - steal me if you can!" I was talking to the owner of Bullitt 1PP01 at the All Ford Nationals in Carlise last year and he had his Bullitt there in the "FOR SALE" building. He was so afraid of driving it for fear of something happening to it that he had to sale it (or trade it) before he left. I'm afraid that I may be the same way with the Boss and that it would just sit in storage or I would sale it. Since I have no plans on racing the car, I may actually enjoy driving the Brembo 300a more.

I love my Boss, But wish I had some of the premium options, I understand its made for Race and Competition, But I am spoiled in my other cars, and my 2004Mach1 had its place along with a great stereo and electric seats. etc etc

I'm a pretty average driver but I'd put my George Foreman grill on the line to say that it would take a MUCH better driver than me to run significantly better lap times, even with a Boss.

As I said earlier, that is the package that I would really want, all things being equal but the performance difference isn't justified by the 35% price increase.

So you paid 30k for a GT premium with Brembo?
I would have thought price difference would have been like 7k

Oops... my mistake- it's 300A
$29k base GT
$1600 Brembo package
-X plan (not available on Boss at the time)
-$750 rebate

Besides, IIRC, you still can't get a Boss for MSRP so the difference would be even bigger.
