Boss 302S Intake Manifold

I installed the intake manifold without a hitch, but the engine light comes on.

Ok, so the DTC code is P0443, evaporative emission system purge control valve!? I reconnected everything, so why would this be coming on?

Was able to clear the DTC, went a full day without the light and it came back on each time after I start!

Did you retune it for the Boss intake?

Yes, SCT3 with 93 tune from Stage 3 (allegedly)! I gave them all the numbers and parameters, but is been doing it since the tune and I feel there should be better response than what I'm getting!

The purge valve is the one that must be relocated... Pain in the ****. Are you sure it's reconnected completely and correctly and relocated some where safe?

Yeah, it's located on the back of the manifold. I had to extend the wires from the stock location down the right side of the manifold to the rear. It's plugged in all the way. I believe I used 14 or 16 ga wire.

A little off subject but was it easy to rewire? I still need to do mine, I have it bolted to the front of the block as of right now

On second thought that may be your issues... Did you rewire correctly?

Well, you know about assumptions, and there weren't any instructions with the kit. However, I found the two wires from stock location, cut and added wire to the new location!

I know this doesn't help but maybe instead of cutting you should have spliced into the wire.
