Not true. Car moves good, It's the quickest it's ever been (downtrack at the stripe as well as 60ft), stock converter. If it wasn't quicker I'd have swapped by now... I've logged 100 or so passes on the 4:10's so my personal testing has proved beyond a shadow of a doubt. Now with a converter or BIG power adder might that change? maybe? but for a "low powered" stockish car, gear is a pretty good way to go.

Lot's of internet "myths" floating around here that simply aren't true, re-parroted over and over again. At my altitude the car needs the gear (6k+ feet), everyone parrots the same junk about gearing as if one size fits all.... That's why I don't spend a whole lot of time here. The technical knowledge is not really up to par....
