Borla S-type Axle backs and Corsa X-pipe
Can't wait to install the presents I got for the stang!
Borla S-Type Axle Back + Corsa XO pipe. Already have the Borlas; waiting on the Corsa to come in - weather forecast for NYC on Saturday's gonna be 50 Degrees, if that isn't install weather I don't know what is.
BTW - they may not be a sponsor here but I need to put a shoutout to street side auto, ordered the Corsa today, shipped and should be coming tomorrow
Will post some pics/videos when I get them on.

Got the whole thing installed on Saturday. Sounds amazing, i was really pleasantly surprised. Deeper and aggressive without being obnoxious or in your face, I think the X pipe really smooths out the sound and makes it a little more civilized.
Axle backs really aren't that loud and cold starts weren't as bad as I thought. They're noticeable but quite frankly I think I'm wanting maybe a 1-3 notch up in volume. I gotta ask how much would it be to cut off the resonators.
As promised here's the vid - doesn't do too good justice:

Thanks guys, still kind of torn on whether or not I should keep the resonators - would it be TOO loud?
And 2012GTCS, I'm in Queens - you? used to be part of LI Stangs back in the day but they mostly stay in out in Nassau/Suffolk.

I think it sounds perfect. Remember we live in the NYC area pulling the resonators might get you in trouble plus I don't think there is any need to. As long as the car sound like an animal under load who cares if its quiet while idling, you have the best of both worlds.
Good job looks and sounds great!

What you're saying makes sense; while this isn't my first aftermarket exhaust this is the first v8 I've owned; I think it's loud enough already.
X pipe was definitely one of favorite investments; the sound is o so sophisticated.

you're crazy! I just left NYC, Manhattan, and people drive crazy over there. I stuck to the subway and buses. Plus, no parking and the "nyc bump", lol

The 2011 GT is the ultimate urban crawler. Wrestlin' w/ the cabs and the trucks and the buses and bicycles and inattentive pedestrians? This car was built for a run down 3rd Ave during rush hr traffic.
