Barton Shifter doesn't like the heat
Put my new barton shifter on about a month ago, got in my car last week it was super hot. This is when I noticed an issue that barton seems to know about. When you push the shifter down to go into reverse the spring does not push it back up. Barton is sending me a new spring, but they suggested I sand down the sleeve because the shaft is expanding in the heat and causing too much friction. Not a big deal, just a bit of a nuisance. Other than that I'm a big fan of the shifter.
Should be getting the new spring today, gonna pull it apart and see what's going on with it. Didn't pay much attention to the inner workings when I installed it.
