if he had a really bad 60', ill apologize. it is a lot of money. i only waited for this car because of the motor. i hate the interior.

We should bust out popcorn.
I wonder if it's just tricky to launch properly. The gearing on the 2011 is nothing like a Camaro's, that's for sure. Also recall that some people report the tachometer lagging behind the engine. Shifting right at red line may be too late. Then there's the theory that the 3.73 axle is actually too much for the gearing. A slight bit over 110 MPH is the estimated maximum speed for 4th gear on 3.73s, and if they're getting a slight bit over 110 MPH at the end of the run... well unless the rev limiter pegs right at the finish line, we may see a small issue with the quarter mile.
Take my with a grain of salt though, I'm all theory and no practice.

ive been driving mustangs and fords for a long time. i built a bunch of them. modded them. never had such high expectations as now, and had to 'remake' them to suit me. this is the first one i hope will satisfy the way i drive without modding it heavily. i cant stand to drive a weak car. i just wont do it. so im counting on this car being right from the start. i can overlook interior things i hate for performance. it will have tiny front tires, no front swaybar, etc soon after i buy it. thats just my style. but the motor had better be real.

please assasinator do us all a favor....calm down...take a deep breath...and relax until the dyno chart comes up. Then go test drive one.
Then you can panic
