TPMS
TPMS
I bought my car with aftermarket rims already on it and supposedly no tpms.
The light is on an says monitor fault.
Do I just need to buy new sensors and have someone put them in or is there a way to check if I have those aftermarket ones where I just need to deflate and inflate to turn it back on?

chances are you don't have them.
unlikely but probable is that they are on, but not mated to your car.
you can buy a full set from fleabay for about $50, but you will also need the programming tool (about $50 from AM) unless you can find someone who has the tool already.

If you think you have sensors that need programmed you can do it yourself with a fairly cheap tool. I just got the TPMS Programming tool at Amazon for around $30. Says it works for all Fords 2003-2014, but make sure you see if it is right for your car. I just got it, but have not tried it yet too see if it works. Here is a link.
