auto tranny fail, guess why get promoted
Driving down interstate bout 85mph
motor is fine but drivetrain just let go.
no noise
no warning
no leaks
no smoke
no warning light
Felt like it went out of gear while cruising and will not engage. When the automatic was shifted manually the motor and tranny acted like it was engaging and the revs would modulate. Then it stopped doing that to. No reverse either. It will engage park and neutral state but no gear.
I guess that means the diff is good. Is there a secondary brake that engages when in park?
