throttle body issue

So I bought a larger body for my 2014 mustang and it's been on for about 200 miles. Just started getting an engine light regarding a lean condition. what options do I have to either get more fuel or reduce the amount of air going to the air intake? the engine light is very intermittent and remains off 95% of the time.

Thanks for any thoughts!

welcome to the forum

did you get a tune update to go with the bigger throttle body? I am not positive, but pretty sure that is required for it to run right

An aftermarket tune re-flash is not required for larger throttle bodies... A tune re-flash is required only if the air intake tube before the MAF sensor is larger in diameter vs the OEM air intake tube...
Beyond the air inlet tube, it doesn't matter what the throttle body size happens to be...

Other than the larger TB, are there any other mods, such as upgrading to a larger air intake... Have you also checked your MAF sensor? if there's any dust or dirt on the MAF sensor it can also trigger a CEL...
If there were no CEL's prior to installing the larger throttle body, make certain the O ring has no damages, signs of dry rot or any tears... Otherwise, the TB may not seal properly which can lead to potential vacuum leaks that will also trigger a CEL... Also make certain you properly transferred/installed the control module, motor assembly from the old TB to the larger TB...
