f150 throttle body on mustang???

Ive been wanting to upgrade my throttle body for a good while now but im not happy with the ones on american muscle. To me its not that big of a upgrade from a stock 65mm to a 70mm. My cousin put a trail blazer SS throttle on his SS cobalt and got a huge improvement! So im thinking of putting a 2006 f-150 throttle body on my mustang. Will that work? Any suggestions?

f150 5.4 throttle =75mm

do you have reason to believe your stock TB is restricting air flow? Perhaps other mods that are wanting more air than the stock TB can handle, like cam, fuel injector change, tuning, free flowing exhaust, etc?

If it will physically fit/bolt onto a 3v 4.6 ? I don't see why it wouldn't work

I didn't realize you were looking into the F-150 throttle body for your V6 Mustang until after I had submitted my post..

Anyhow you cannot use a F-150 throttle body nor even a GT throttle body for a V6 application, as both are only compatible with the 3 valve 4.6 and 5.4 engines..
