Thanks, this deployed paratrooper salutes you

Taking last year - there on 255/40/19 all around. Reason i wanted the AMR wheels is because i wanted the staggered look (fatter tires in the rear), just looking around to see about powder coating them gloss black, they will look alot sharper on metalic sterling grey.

Hmmmmm RTR's or Track Packs? I think it will be the RTR's. Nurburgrings if I can a find a cheaper package deal. They appear to be the same rim. The tires are meatier than the Track Packs.

I just wanted to say thanks to all those that provided input...I was really struggling on my decision. I decided on the 2010 GT500 Black wheels. I was able to find a set at cruizinconcepts for about $1150, with Nitto 555's. It is 18x9 front and 18x10 rear. I also picked up the Eibach Pro Kit and Steeda panhard bar. It was this, or spend $2200 on RTR's, possibly on backorder and not in time for me to return from overseas, and without the suspension upgrades.

I will have the work done around the second week of June. I will be sure to post pics, its gonna look killer!

Thanks again!!!

Houston...............
We have a problem................

cruizinconcepts has somehow managed to completely screw up my order.
Let's see if they can fix it. If not, I will make it my mission in life to make sure no Mustang forum surfer orders from them again. More to follow.

Others have tried to warn people and they continue to have issues. It seems like their satisfaction rate is about 50%.

American Muscle on the other hand has a devoted following due to their customer service. Personally I don't use either vendor so take it FWIW.

I do hope CC fixes your issue.

Long story short (I know, it could be much worse)-
1. They shipped to the wrong address
2. I asked them to delay shipping so it wouldn't take up space at my shop (they asked me nicely because they have no space). They shipped immediately

In the end, by the second week of June, I will have the stuff on the car, and probably enjoying it. This was just a ton of added stress. I am overseas and unscrewing this has been a major pain. Just overall not happy. Like I said, I guess it could be (and possibly might get) worse.

Well, after 8 months of pandering and stressing, the work is finally done. I am extremely happy with the outcome.

The work was done at Competition Auto of Spring Lake NC. They charged me 330$ to installl wheels, panhard bar, springs, and front end alignment. They stated that the Steeda PHB would not adjust on one side, so they made the adjustments on the other side. Looks fine to me. The drop appears to be a bit more in the front, and more subtle in the rear. The ride is very nice, not too harsh. She seems to rebound from bumps a bit more precisely now.

The one biggest problem I have is: the center caps. I asked cruizinconcepts if they offered anything besides shelby ones, and they said no. I asked the shop to swap out my center caps from my stock wheels, but they did not fit. So for now, I am stuck with some cheesy generic ones that has a "P" on it, whatever that means. My wife has demanded I get it fixed (which is funny considering she gives me crap for dropping money on upgrades all the time). If anyone has suggestions on this, let me know.

Thanks again to all those who provided input. Let me know what you think. I think changing out the 5.0 emblems to black ones will be a nice touch.

I think the SN95 caps fit those wheels - some pony tribar or SVT caps would look good!

Patrick, maybe you can help...the stock wheel center cap tabs are too shallow, but it still accepts a 2.5 inch cap. Basically I need caps with longer tabs for them to fit. Everything I'm seeing on Ebay looks to be the same tab length (94-04 caps). Any ideas?

The stock S197 ones are too shallow right? I am pretty sure the SN95 ones are deeper...

Just installed factory GT500 wheels off an '11 onto my 2013 SG V6 manual. It looks almost 4x4ish. Must Buy Eibach Pro Kit ASAP!lol Already ordered a GT500 rear wing.. should set it off. You see the car in person, it looks so badazz.

Thanks for the photos in this thread! I am planning on getting another set of my current 19" luster nickel wheels painted glass black for my 2010 GT. Since there are more gloss black treatments on my car now, the luster nickel stands out in more contrast than it did when it was the stock appearance.

I'll keep the originals if I don't like the look. However, I think it will draw the color contrast out more in combination with the stripes, the black rear spoiler, and the rear decklid blackout.

Photos hopefully in a week or so.

I'm with Giantmonkey. I just sold my Cal Special wheels, and replaced them with AMR gloss black staggered. 8.5" 245s front ,10.5" 275s rear.
Everybody told me how much they LOVED my CS wheels, couldn't believe I was taking them off, till they saw the fat blacks.
It looks so bad-***, the 275s really set it off, like old-school (I had 3 60s mustangs in high school)
Looked at gray, but that's WAY too much gray, the gloss black is perfect. May do some kind of c-stripe or hockey stick to add to it, then again, may not.
I'll post photos next week.
