Finished installing 2 sets of fogs
Hi everyone,
Just finished adding smoked halo fogs to my grille over the weekend. I switched over to the BOSS302 grille in the process, so I have a spare MCA grille.
Anyway, I already had lower fogs installed from a Starkey kit, so I converted that harness to the grille lamps. But I still wanted lower fogs, so I hooked them to an H10 compatible harness being sold at blueoval(similar to the cheap ebay ones). It had it's own switch which let me operate the lowers independently. However, I had to buy H10-H11 converters to reconnect them.
All in all, it worked pretty good. I had to fabricate some connectors for the halo's and modify the blueoval harness to use longer wires..but I have two sets of independent fogs . Since it's late for me, I'll post pics later.

Here are the pics..sorry for the lousy quality (phone). Doesn't look as good as some of the other's great photos of these . The led strips at the bottom I'm taking off.

Thanks! It took me 3 days and during the current winter storm too. I was in 50 below weather most of the time, my wife thought I was crazy lol. But I really wanted to see them on the car. It's interesting having grille lamps, I know..now...they are almost entirely for show. My lower fogs are more effective. They barely add any illumination, but they look nice behind the smoked raxiom's...that way they don't interrupt the black of the grille when the halos are off.
I'll try to take some better pics when it warms up so other Sterling Gray owners can get an idea of how these may look on their rides. If you can find the lamps from somebody..or even an entire GT setup w/ grille..it's worth considering since the Raxiom kit and finding a decent harness isn't too expensive.

Looks great! I have been debating what to do with my standard v6 grille - I have the lower led fog lights but I want to change my grille. I'm not sure if I should the gt grille or or the one you used to have.

looks really clean, i like the driving lights in the center grille, to me it gives it that 70's road coarse look, mine to are in the center but behind my black grille looks nice hidden in the daytime and looks cool at night time, I'm pleased with it. With the addition of your lower driving lights you gotta see everything on the road at night ?
