First long trip, NYC to Tampa. Looks nice in the setting Florida sun. Great ride down. Hood, bumper, other parts protected by invisible bra.

BTW, ever had any experience with a tank of "bad gas"? Always nervous when I can't find big name brands to ensure quality.

 

Looks great! The gas happened to me in Cali, the bad, I had to have my fuel pump and plugs changed because of it.....

If you're a younger guy, or even a fun loving older guy, you need to check out Ybor City while down in Tampa.

 

Yeah...Ybor Strip is where the naked ladies are

 

Sorry, but as a Tampa person myself, Ybor is not all it is cracked up to be. Especially with so many businesses shut down or moved out. During the day it might be worth the trip for some local flavor, but at night it becomes a cess pool. Bar fights, hoodlums, rampant ticketing, drunks roaming the streets, muggings.

I would go to Ybor for the Cuban flare during the day. Or go to the Acropolis restaurant for some real good food. If you want some info on great spots to go visit send me a PM.

I haven't been there in about 5 yrs, but used to go a lot when I lived in FL. Has it gotten much worse since then? Had a lot of fun at Club Hedo down there.

 

It is horrible. Too many wanna be thugs and "gangstas" lol.

 

Lot's of "Tapout" shirts and "Famous" hats, huh? lol I think that's happened in a lot of places.

No, just visiting. My dad passed away and just hopped in the car and drove down. Road, miles, the car - a therapy of sorts.

My condolences. I did the exact same thing last year when my sister suddenly passed away on November 16th. Miles of driving worked to strengthen me for the rest of my family when I arrived.
