Fell in love with Kona when I first saw it, and when the light is right, it is a really spectacular color. However, I personally could not live with a color I liked only 80% of the time--I get the purple and royal/electric blue hues coming out in certain lighting which I don't care for. I had one on order and changed to Ebony.

Anyhow, color like beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so cheers to all the Kona Blue Stangs out there.

I had a Sonic blue Lightning and a Vista blue Shelby before this Kona so yeah, I'd say I like blue. Or Blurple.

Its blue! Although in the right light it might have a slight purple tint. Either way it's a gorgeous color. I love my Kona blue baby.

I just bought mine last week and had it parked at work. The UPS man came in delivering a package and asked who's purple Mustang was parked outside. I said that it was mine and then I asked him why was he driving a white FedEx truck. He had the same puzzled expression on his face that I just had.

Actually, for the first time last week I "saw" the purple hue. Just washed and waxed (again!) last week and the sun was going down, the 5.0 was in the shade and there it was! Sort of a deep rich purple. Might have bought that color if it was on the list.

When driving, if the sun hits my hood just right, I can see a few purple specks here and there in the paint. That's about the only time I've noticed.

I saw the purple on my KB Boss. Yesterday evening with the Mustang parked in the garage, garage dooe open and the light at just the right angle. Maybe it has something to do with the metal flake creating a prism effect

You can't make purple without red on blue, it's an optical illusion you're seeing. It's in your head, like back pain is.

So what you're saying is, I'll never see those annoying purple specs again as long as my shoes have cushy insoles? I'm Gellin'.

Love my KONA BLUE & LOVE the fact that depending on the light I can have up to 3 different color cars for the price of one!

Now that I think about it the variable colors could be > 3.

I like how it's a dark blue with a heavy metal flake during day and at night it is black until the light hits. Only problem is that it shows EVERY bit of dirt.

Every single spec of dust and dirt. Never thought I'd own a colour worse than black for this. Ah well.

You should live somewhere that doesn't have dirt, like I do.
