I had a Yankee gel air freshener in my car 2011 mustang it melted when I tried to clean it off it ate through all the way down to the plastic in my center console. Please don't use this product. I called to see how much it will be to fix and ford said about 500-1000$ needless to say I'm up for a fight I'm so upset I love my car and treat it like my baby

So, by putting it in this section you are saying that this would only happen to a grabber blue car then, or are you just saying that you only care about it happening to a grabber blue car?
Wrong place for this thread.

Ltngdrvr get off her back man. Sheesh.
Nikki, I'm soooo sorry this happened to you. I know how I would feel so I can only imagine how you feel right now.
Good luck getting something out of that company. They should be ashamed of themselves!

Hey why don't you get lost buddy. People are tired of your rude comments and remarks. No need to attack this member over this. This is not what TMS or the Mustang community is about.

Please, let's be a bit more polite to our fellow members. What's to gain from doing otherwise?
Sorry to see the damage Nikki! I'm not sure why they are telling you it will be so expensive, you should just need that trim piece? Not sure if this is the right piece as there is no parts illustration:
Finish panel, W/auto trans? Slate gray
PANEL - CONSOLE - Base & trim
List Price : $225.83
Your Price : $180.66
EDIT: I just realized that you may have some damage to surrounding areas. Wasn't sure if it was just dirt on the shifter surround or not. I'm from NJ so if you need any help with installing parts, let me know!
